Location: This positions is to be based in the UK (Primary location) although will travel to project offices in Nantes, Paris, Barcelona, and customer premises in London and Glasgow.

Position Overview:

The Contracts Manager will provide comprehensive support to the Wind Offshore Project Team, focusing on the execution of large-scale offshore wind farm construction projects. This role demands expertise in managing commercial, financial, and contractual aspects, ensuring effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the single point of contact for drafting and proposing all correspondences with commercial, financial, and contractual implications. Maintain accurate records of all correspondences related to commercial, financial, and contractual matters. Facilitate contract awareness among the project team through sessions, summaries, extracts, live sessions, and ad-hoc interpretations. Attend meetings, support the preparation of minutes of meetings (MoMs), and review materials. Contribute to monthly project reports, summaries, and presentations as required. Support claim management processes. Collaborate with Sourcing and the Subcontracts Contracts Manager on negotiations of claims, contractual changes, and dispute resolutions for suppliers and subcontractors. Assist the Variations Contracts Manager in managing change orders with critical commercial, financial, and contractual implications. Provide additional contractual/commercial support necessary for project execution.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, commercial, legal, or related fields. Experience in managing large-scale construction contracts.

Required Characteristics:

Strong commercial acumen. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Experience in claim management. Team player, encouraging communication within the project team and willing to share knowledge and information. Ability to work in complex environments and provide clear, fact-based recommendations/solutions. Good sense of prioritization. Comfortable managing cross-functional matters.
