The Role
As a
Senior/Lead EC&I Engineer
, you will play a key leadership role in the delivery of complex engineering projects, supporting all phases from initial concept to commissioning. You will lead by example, mentor junior engineers, and act as a primary technical interface with clients.
Your Responsibilities
Champion the development of the Quality Management System and design best practices
Lead and produce detailed EC&I design documentation including:
Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
Instrument Loop Diagrams
Motor Control Schematics
Cable Block Diagrams
Network and Panel Layouts
Deliver accurate design calculations and manage cable containment route design
Lead system surveys, equipment specification, and procurement
Produce and maintain critical project documents: FDS, FAT, SAT
Conduct on-site control panel testing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis
Provide expert-level project oversight and ensure successful delivery
About You
You are a confident, experienced engineer with a passion for quality and innovation. You enjoy variety, responsibility, and solving complex technical challenges.
Must-Haves
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
Proven track record in delivering detailed EC&I designs across project lifecycles
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in the nuclear sector or similarly regulated industries
Understanding of Functional Safety (IEC61508/61511) and Hazardous Area Design
Familiarity with IS DSD calculations and verification
