Conveyancing Lawyer
to consult on key legal, operational, and digital transformation initiatives to help reshape the property transaction experience across the UK.
The Role:
This is a unique opportunity for a senior conveyancing expert to work in a
strategic advisory capacity
. You'll collaborate with product teams, data specialists, and industry stakeholders to help design and validate innovative solutions that solve long-standing pain points in the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide
subject matter expertise (SME)
on residential conveyancing processes, legal risks, and regulatory requirements
Advise on legal implications of product features, digital workflows, and automated document generation
Support discovery sessions, process mapping, and validation of proposed improvements to the conveyancing journey
Review legal content and artefacts (e.g. digital forms, contract templates, disclaimers) for compliance and accuracy
Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on how to simplify and de-risk the transaction process using tech
Collaborate on pilot programmes and client implementations to assess legal impact and user outcomes
Required Experience & Skills:
5-10+ years' PQE
in residential property law, ideally with hands-on experience in volume conveyancing
Strong understanding of the UK property transaction ecosystem, including Land Registry, SDLT, and lender panels
Experience working with or advising technology or proptech businesses highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present legal advice to non-lawyers clearly and commercially
Able to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment
Strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice-to-Haves:
Exposure to digital transformation or process improvement in legal services
Familiarity with CQS requirements and panel management operations
Experience working in or with start-ups, legal tech, or SaaS companies

Pay: 400.00-500.00 per day
