My client is looking for an experienced Senior Credit Analyst with strong corporate banking expertise to join their London-based Credit Management team. This second line of defence role requires a deep understanding of credit risk across a range of industry sectors, supporting both new business and the ongoing assessment of existing corporate clients. You'll be responsible for preparing detailed credit risk reports, conducting sector and counterparty analysis, and presenting your assessments to senior credit committees. The role also involves close collaboration with front-office teams to ensure a robust, end-to-end credit process and support strategic business decisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience in corporate banking and credit analysis, ideally covering a wide range of sectors such as commodities, manufacturing, infrastructure, real estate, and services. You'll need strong financial modelling skills, a solid grasp of banking products and associated risks, and the ability to work across complex deal structures.
A degree in Finance, Economics, or Business is essential, and professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or ACIB are advantageous.
