We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Securities Services Custody Tax Product Team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve business targets.

In this role you will:



Lead the ongoing development of the Custody product management functions in line with agreed strategic objectives for the EU FASTER initiative. Be the Custody and Custody Tax Product knowledge expert globally internally and externally for EU Faster. Drive and manage the products with the objective to contribute to the improvement of the overall profitability of Securities Services, to enhance the client experience. Manage the custody side of any Client Improvement Plans. Grow and maintain the overall assets under custody of HSBC Securities Services, while promoting client satisfaction, digitization, scalability and innovation. Take a pro-active approach in developing a comprehensive understanding of the development of the global securities services market. Represent HSBC externally and internally with authority in matters relating to Custody. This will include amongst other clients, regulators, advisers etc. As a member of the Custody Product Management Team, contribute to the wider development and management of the Product and its team members.




To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:





Prior experience in custody product and custody tax Demonstrable custody experience at a senior manager level. Experience of custody flows, data systems, accounting, and information flows in large organisations A strong technical custody tax base coupled with the ability and desire to work across teams and disciplines to build scalable tax solutions. Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative, and analytical content. Digitally focused and able to conceptualise and help drive development of tax product solutions which are delivered digitally. Prior experience in managing a small team Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills.
