Job Description

The Senior Customer Marketing Executive will assist in the growth of Planet Sport Group's direct-to-consumer titles and network, elevating the business' products and services both locally and globally.

Generating new customers, deepening customer engagement and maximising lifetime value through upsell and cross-sell routines are key commercial objectives for Planet Sport Group. The postholder will work with the Marketing Manager in deploying campaigns that improve user engagement, drive new subscribers, promote app downloads, and increasingly profile our audience of 25+ million monthly users across leading brands such as TEAMtalk, Football365, PlanetF1.com, and Planet Rugby.

The Senior Customer Marketing Executive will operate and maximise the capability of Iterable - our CRM/CDP/marketing automation platform. They will segment audiences and deploy personalised marketing and content campaigns targeted to specified user profiles. As an individual working with the Iterable platform day-in, day out, the Senior Customer Marketing Executive will become a subject matter expert, learn from user behaviours, identify process improvements and develop Planet Sport Group's CRM capabilities.

The postholder will be proficient in data-driven marketing with a keen interest in developing mid-funnel marketing skills through the delivery of high-performance creative push, in-app and email campaigns.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

2 years' experience in digital marketing, digital media, direct customer engagement or similar would be especially advantageous. Degree level educated or equivalent experience, (digital) marketing qualifications an advantage but not essential. Experience and working knowledge of Iterable, or similar CRM or marketing automation platforms. Copywriting and multimedia storytelling and project management skills. Figma, LinkedIn, ClickUp and Miro experience would be an advantage. Demonstrable ability with Microsoft365 suite and other Microsoft products particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally Power BI. Knowledge of and general interest in sports, media, betting, advertising, and publishing.

Skills & Personal Qualities

An enthusiastic, creative communicator and team player. Ability to produce high standard creative, copy, and strongly engaging marketing content with an eye for excellent design. Great attention to detail and a quality assurance fanatic. Obsessive about testing new campaign tracking and optimising live campaigns. Motivated and organised with strong analytical skills and an ability to deliver to KPIs; capable of independently and proactively managing own projects. A desire to develop a strong network within digital media, sports, tech, and marketing circles.
