Position Overview
We are currently seeking a senior After Sales Specialist with great customer service skills and a vivacious personality to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can love our clients as much as we do and play a pivotal role in ensuring they receive exemplary customer service, fostering strong relationships, and upholding the exceptional standards for which Classic Shoe Repair is renowned.
In return for your drive and commitment you will receive excellent training for this role.
The position is available immediately, to work a 40-hour week, strictly 9am - 6pm over 5 days between Monday and Saturday.
Responsibilities of the role:
Communicate with clients regarding their repaired shoes, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience in person, by phone and through email.
Address customer enquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and a commitment to exceeding expectations in a timely manner.
Be a trusted and reliable member of the team to ensure the quality control process is consistently applied to all repaired shoes and they meet the highest of standards.
Collaborate with our skilled team of artisans and Front of House team to maintain consistency in repair techniques and finishes.
Provide expert advice to clients on repair options, recommending appropriate services based on the condition of their shoes and leather goods.
Assess and accurately estimate repair costs and turnaround times.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, repair specifications, and outcomes.
What you must have:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury shoe repair and after-sales service preferred.
Proven track record of managing customer relationships in a luxury retail or service environment.
Knowledge of shoe design and construction, materials and specifically leathers, and repair techniques.
Familiarity with a wide range of luxury shoe and leather goods brands.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt and convey technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
Strong and confident customer service skills, with a passion for delivering an exceptional experience.
Ability to empathise with clients and address their needs effectively.
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
Capability cheerfully to manage and prioritise a high volume of customer interactions and the processing of shoe repairs in and out of the system.
