We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Individual to support the Customer Services team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth running of day-to-day operations, focusing on administrative duties that help ensure excellent service delivery to our customers. You'll work closely with the Sales Manager and other departments such as purchasing, planning, logistics, and production. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, is confident using systems, thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and has a positive and helpful manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input & process customer orders into the system
Liaise with other departments to coordinate stock availability & delivery timings
Monitor and respond to general customer queries (email and phone)
Assist with resolving issues such as shortages, overs, delivery scheduling & booking collections
Ensure all pricing and product information is kept up to date in the system
Support the team with general administration tasks, including filing, scanning & order tracking
Handle invoice & Proof of Delivery (POD) queries in liaison with accounts
Help coordinate transport logistics, including bookings & reschedules
Key Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in an administrative or customer service support role
Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
Strong organisational & multitasking abilities
Good communication skills, both written & verbal
Comfortable working with systems such as Sage (or willing to learn)
Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Able to work well in a team & under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent telephone manner
Problem solving skills
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.00, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
