The opportunity
As a key member of our Commercial team, the Senior Director, Customer Success will lead the strategy and execution of our customer success function, supporting our technology solutions. In this high-impact role, you'll ensure clients gain maximum value from our products, champion customer satisfaction, and drive growth through retention, upsell, and advocacy. You'll lead a dynamic team, develop engagement strategies, gather and act on feedback, and promote a customer-first mindset across the business.

Role responsibilities
Client Partnership & Strategic Support
Build trusted relationships with key clients by developing tailored engagement plans aligned with their goals and business needs.
Serve as a strategic advisor and executive sponsor for major accounts, leading regular business review meetings with the right stakeholders from both client and Envision teams.
Act as a senior escalation point, resolving critical issues swiftly and effectively.
Monitor key success metrics and service level agreements to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
Lead and support a high-performing Customer Success team, providing guidance on client meetings and strategic challenges.
Manage team operations, including scheduling, process documentation, and delivery of business reviews, license renewals, and statements of work (SOWs).
Provide a collaborative, solutions-focused team culture, supporting professional development across the department.
Customer Retention and Growth
Collaborate with Business Development teams to support technology demonstrations and drive client engagement.
Leverage data and customer insights to map the client journey, define success metrics, and continuously improve the customer experience.
Stay informed on client industries and market trends, offering proactive, value-driven recommendations.
Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
Do you have what we are looking for?
Skills & expertise
Previous experience in customer success in a leadership role.
Software implementation experience.
Background in medical affairs, pharmaceuticals, or technology support - preferred.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Salesforce, and Gainsight - preferred.
A deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for providing excellent customer experiences.
Strong knowledge of SaaS solutions and product implementation best practices.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams.
Strategic thinker with experience aligning customer success initiatives with business goals.
Deep commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, skilled in identifying customer needs and proactively driving solutions.
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
