At Vodafone UK, diversity isn\'t just a buzzword, it is core to who we are as a company. We\'re proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work and are committed to driving inclusion for all; creating a workplace that is fully representative of the communities and customers we serve.

What you\'ll do

As a Senior Cyber Security Project manager, you will be responsible for managing a number of complex, technical and strategic projects that contribute to the Cyber Security strategy with the prime focus on driving project outcomes to achieve the Cyber Security Baseline (CSB). CSB is a framework of multiple security controls and the programme strives to meet adequacy, coverage requirements and improve control effectiveness. This is currently undergoing evolution to an Adaptive Risk based model. CSB programme delivers complex transformation changes spanning multiple Cyber domains.

The Senior Project Manager will have complete end to end delivery responsibility from inception scoping and building case preparation through design, build and test before overseeing deployment and handover to operations. All projects are delivered through a formal governance process following a Vodafone Project Delivery Lifecycle, however the delivery model may vary between Waterfall and Agile methodologies as Cyber Security are currently driving the adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across our delivery programmes.

Projects will vary in complexity and will require a good understanding of internal infrastructure and delivery processes. Ideally you will have experience of delivering Cyber Security controls and platforms including Firewall & Proxy Management, Access Management, Logging and Monitoring, IPS, WAF, Vulnerability Scanning, Patching, Asset Management etc. You will need to engage with suppliers and drive delivery efficiencies where appropriate. You will need to provide management oversight on every project from an end to end perspective, including the achievement of all delivery milestones and to ensure the projects are delivered in line with agreed budgets.

You will be required to work closely with other Project Managers as many of their projects will be contributing towards and having inter-dependencies with the CSB programme. You will be driving Technology stakeholders across the organisation to meet CSB control target objectives and KPIs/KRIs. As a Senior Project Manager you will be expected to provide a level of coaching assistance to other members of the team and including any graduates who may be assigned to the Cyber Prevent team. In addition, you will also work closely with the rest of the Cyber Security team in the UK, the central Cyber Pevent team and our peers in other operating countries.

Finally you will be required to keep up to date with the latest developments in Technology Security technologies and ensure Vodafone retains value in its Security Control investment.
