Job Title Senior Cybersecurity Architect

Job Summary Cybersecurity forms one of Telstra International\xe2\x80\x99s strategic technology pillars and is a key growth area for the business. The purpose of this role is to bring cybersecurity architecture expertise to the services and solutions that are being developed by Telstra International\xe2\x80\x99s Enterprise Technology Growth Office.



As a Senior Cybersecurity Architect, you will form part of the recently created Enterprise Technology Growth Office function, that is focused on driving innovative technology services and solutions globally, increasing Telstra International\xe2\x80\x99s speed to market. You will be instrumental in supporting the Growth Office\xe2\x80\x99s Technology Leads in developing new services and solutions, bringing domain knowledge and security subject matter expertise in solution design and implementation to the function.

You will also support regional sales, solutions, and service management within anchor customer opportunity pursuits; and act as the face of the customer for large-scale rollouts of any new propositions the organisation takes to market across the cybersecurity portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

Work closely with the Growth Office Technology Pillar Leads to support in the development and execution of the Enterprise Strategy for Telstra International Enterprise.

Support the successful development and launch of new cybersecurity propositions to market, capturing customer requirements that contribute to the service lifecycle management of the cybersecurity portfolio.

Continuous engagement with our regional sales, solutions, and marketing teams, supporting the development and successful closure of large complex enterprise deals.

Demonstrable cybersecurity architecture and roadmap development experience. Broad cybersecurity subject matter expertise.

Able to provide clear direction on design and solution decisions, ensuring that these meet the architectural principles and standards required, for ongoing service and solution assurance and management.

Bring a creative mindset to constructing solutions and service offerings, incorporating Telstra products and Telstra Purple services, that meet and address customer requirements across our market segments.

Demonstrable experience in developing proposals and estimating solution financials for engagement delivery, including collaborating with clients to refine project scope and approach in order to maximize the potential for success.

Exceptional communication skills. Able to represent the Telstra brand through customer facing and industry engagements, peering with client counterparts i.e. CISO, Security Manager, CTO, CIO etc. Evangelise our offerings with passion and demonstrated subject matter expertise.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 subject matter expertise gained in delivering to clients in two or more of the following cybersecurity technology domains:

Managed Security Services - including SOC/SIEM.

SOC and SIEM architecture, design, and deployment.

SASE/SSE architecture, design, and deployment.

Zero Trust Architecture.

Network Security.

Cloud Security.

Cyber Defence.

Additional experience in Identity and Access Management would be a bonus.
