Your Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior Data Architect

with deep domain expertise in

insurance

, particularly within the

London Market and specialty insurance

sectors. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures, including

medallion architecture

, across cloud platforms such as

AWS

,

Databricks

, and

Snowflake

.

Design and implement

enterprise-grade data architectures

, with a focus on

medallion architecture

(bronze, silver, gold layers).

Lead the development of

data pipelines

,

data lakes

, and

data warehouses

using

AWS

,

Databricks

, and

Snowflake

.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across all data platforms.

Provide architectural guidance for integrating

Salesforce

,

CRM systems

, and

Guidewire suite

(PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

Support data needs for

underwriting

,

claims

, and

policy administration

processes.

Drive best practices in data modeling, metadata management, and data quality assurance.

Your Profile

Over 8 years of experience in data architecture, including 3+ years specifically within the insurance industry. Deep understanding of London Market and specialty insurance operations, including end-to-end data flows. Proven hands-on expertise with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lambda, as well as Databricks and Snowflake. Skilled in designing and optimizing medallion architecture for scalable and efficient data processing. Strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks relevant to regulated industries. Proficient in ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and implementing robust data integration strategies. Familiar with Salesforce and other CRM platforms, enabling seamless data connectivity and insights. Solid understanding of underwriting and claims processes within the insurance domain. Experience with Guidewire products, adding value to core insurance system integrations. Bonus capabilities include real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), machine learning workflow integration, and familiarity with modern data architecture concepts like data mesh and data fabric.
