The Role




The Senior Data Protection & AI Governance Lawyer will:


Manage data protection and privacy matters across UK and international offices. Advise on UK GDPR, PECR, and global privacy regulations to senior stakeholders. Draft and negotiate data processing agreements and privacy provisions in commercial contracts. Develop and maintain internal data protection policies and training programmes. Oversee the firm's AI governance framework, ensuring ethical AI use. Collaborate with various teams to ensure integrated privacy compliance. Monitor emerging AI legislation and assess its impact on operations.

The Candidate




The ideal Senior Data Protection & AI Governance Lawyer will have:


Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction. At least 5 years' post-qualification experience focusing on data protection law. Experience in AI governance and emerging tech regulation is highly desirable. Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
