Job Description

Frindsbury House is a Residential Care Home supporting individuals with Physical and Neurological conditions with a focus on Huntington's Disease.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join and supervise our invaluable day care team to provide person-centred care and support to the Residents that call Frindsbury House their home.

We are looking for a candidate that is kind, caring and compassionate and is able to manage a team to deliver a high standard of individual care to each of our residents, whilst maintaining their dignity, as well as delivering their clinical and health requirements on an individual basis.

The role includes:

Supervising care staff to ensure a high standard of individual care is delivered to each resident and organizing the workload of each member of the team. Overseeing and liaising with residents, health professionals and families if appropriate regarding all aspects of the daily care of residents. Administering prescribed medication to residents and assisting in the management of an effective system. Delivering the clinical and health requirements of residents as part of the Care Team. A Driving Licence is preferred and candidates are would ideally have a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or previous experience in a similar role, to be considered.

Candidates can elect to work either 8 or 12 shifts per 4 week rota of which 3 shifts will be worked on weekend days.

Optional overtime available.

Shift times 7.00am - 9.00pm.

An enhanced DBS check (paid for by the Employer) and references are required.
