Role description



To control and monitor Hot End Production to achieve maximum efficiency and quality standards, via effective use of labour and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee job changes

Monitor production performance and delegate to others to correct problems and improve performance.

Diagnose and solve production problems.

Participate in Job On Job Off meetings, monitor and control JoJo input.

Assist with development of new jobs from trial to full production

Take responsibility for the implementation of Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations, Procedures and Working Practices and 5s Principles.

Implement/monitor and update risk assessments

Required skills / qualifications:

At least 5 years' experience of managing manufacturing processes in the glass industry

Understanding of the customer and quality impact of production decisions

Six Sigma, Green Belt certified or above

Basic Knowledge of Xpar systems and set up
