Senior Scientist
with a strong foundation in analytics and experimentation to join our team and drive the development of meaningful, consumer-facing digital products.
In this cross-functional role, you'll lead high-impact research initiatives, design rigorous experiments, and generate insights that directly influence product and business strategies. You'll collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to shape experiences used by millions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage research and analytics projects from conception through execution
Design experiments and implement advanced statistical methods (e.g., A/B testing, causal inference)
Build and maintain metrics to track product success and user engagement
Analyse complex data sets using SQL and Python to uncover actionable insights
Integrate findings into broader product and business strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Communicate insights through clear reports, dashboards, and presentations
Mentor junior analysts/scientists and support knowledge-sharing across the team
Stay up to date with the latest methodologies and best practices in data science and experimentation
Maintain high standards of scientific and analytical rigor

Extensive experience working on digital consumer products or data-centric platforms
Deep expertise in

Familiarity with a range of analytical approaches and statistical techniques
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Experience collaborating across teams, especially with engineering and product stakeholders
A commitment to scientific and analytical excellence
(Bonus) Understanding of multi-sided marketplaces or behavioural data patterns
Ideal Background
Degree in a scientific, quantitative, or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering)
Experience with statistical software and data visualization tools
Familiarity with research publication or documentation processes
Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus
Knowledge of lab or safety protocols is a nice-to-have if your background includes experimental science
