About the role



We're seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of an AI governance and adoption programme. This role will focus on ensuring that strategy, toolkits, and governance models are delivered on time, meet stakeholder needs, and align with organisational priorities.



You'll work across strategy, design, and transition phases, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, engaging stakeholders, and overseeing progress to deliver a framework that supports the responsible use of AI technologies.

Responsibilities



Own and manage the delivery plan, ensuring objectives, milestones, and outputs are achieved to schedule. Develop and maintain a business engagement plan, scheduling workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with senior stakeholders. Oversee the creation of a framework for identifying and prioritising AI opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Coordinate the assessment of organisational readiness and capability gaps, ensuring findings translate into actionable recommendations. Support the development of an integrated governance and operating model, aligning new frameworks with existing processes. Manage the delivery of strategic recommendations, including briefing materials for senior leadership. Ensure all outputs, toolkits, and methodologies are documented and knowledge transfer is completed before project closure. Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring risks, dependencies, and issues are tracked and addressed. Produce regular delivery reporting, including progress updates against milestones and acceptance criteria.


About You

Proven experience as a Delivery Manager working on complex digital, data, or technology programmes. Strong background in governance and delivery planning, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Skilled at stakeholder engagement, running workshops, and building consensus across senior leaders. Experience of managing delivery in agile and hybrid environments. Ability to translate strategy into delivery milestones and measurable outcomes. Clear communicator, confident in preparing executive-level briefing packs and reporting progress. Familiarity with AI, digital governance, or emerging technology projects is highly desirable.
