TT Electronics' Bedlington facility north of Newcastle upon Tyne is the home of two TT Electronics divisions; Sensors & Specialist Components and Power Electronics. Sensors & Specialist Components are leaders in high reliability, high performance and engineered electronic components. Power Electronics provide custom power solutions for safety-critical applications in harsh environments. The team in Bedlington specialises in microcircuit production for the aerospace and defence industries.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:
We have a vacancy for a Senior Design Engineer to join the Engineering team working within our Microelectronics business.
In this role your primary responsibility will be to design and develop power modules. Working as part of the wider engineering team you will be involved in a wide range of projects spanning R&D, development and NPI.
Whilst the successful candidate will be responsible for designing power modules, you may also be asked to assist the wider engineering team by providing support to sustain and improve existing products lines, including yield improvements and cost reduction, and providing technical leadership.
