Your Role:
As Senior Design Manager, you'll lead the design management of complex architectural and facade packages, ensuring design quality, buildability, and compliance are embedded at every stage. You'll coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, engage with top-tier consultants and suppliers, and drive innovation in design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of architectural and facade design from pre-construction through to project handover
Lead design reviews, manage queries, and ensure alignment with project programme and technical requirements
Collaborate with clients, designers, and delivery teams to drive best practice and innovative solutions
Proactively manage design risk, change processes, and statutory compliance
Mentor junior design management team members, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
What You'll Bring:
Degree-qualified in Architecture, Civil, Structural, or a related discipline
Chartered status preferred (or working towards)
Proven track record in design management of complex architectural and facade packages
Experience in large-scale commercial, life sciences, or high-specification developments
Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Strong understanding of design governance, technical assurance, and construction interface requirements
