Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Design Manager to lead our design team in developing cutting-edge solutions that align with our company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire design process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client specifications and industry standards. This role requires strong leadership, creative vision, and excellent project management skills to drive design excellence across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Oversee the entire design lifecycle, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and final implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product management, and marketing to ensure design alignment with project goals. Develop and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices to maintain consistency and quality. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality. Review and approve design work to ensure it meets technical specifications, usability standards, and aesthetic criteria. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to incorporate best practices into the design process. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to present concepts, progress updates, and final deliverables.

Requirements

Proven experience in design management within relevant industries such as product design, UI/UX, or industrial design. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide creative teams toward shared goals. Excellent project management abilities with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools. Exceptional communication skills for presenting ideas clearly and collaborating across departments. Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
