As a Senior Developer in our Data & Digital team, you'll lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge technology solutions that power Scottish Rugby's digital ecosystem. You'll work across customer data management, web development, and high-performance athlete systems--delivering impactful solutions that support both our commercial and sporting ambitions.
What you will be doing:
Customer Data Management
: Lead the development and integration of Scottish Rugby's customer data warehouse, enabling seamless data flow across ticketing, retail, app, and CRM systems.Digital Platform Development
: Support and enhance Scottish Rugby's digital platforms--including websites and community systems--through collaboration with internal teams and external developers.Athlete Management System (AMS)
: Drive the technical design and implementation of a high-performance AMS, integrating key data streams and reporting tools.Data Governance & Reporting
: Ensure data integrity, compliance, and effective reporting across marketing, digital, and performance teams.What we're looking for:
Proven experience in software development, data engineering, or systems integration. Strong knowledge of modern development frameworks, APIs, and cloud-based data platforms. Experience with customer data platforms, CRM systems, and web technologies. A collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Passion for sport and a desire to make a real impact in a dynamic, high-profile environment.
