The Role



As a Senior Developer, you will engage in and support the maintenance, management, and development of software at Tribal, with a particular focus on our SITS platform. We're seeking a team member who brings exceptional skill, dedication, and professionalism to the role.



Your responsibilities will include:



Advocate for innovative approaches and technologies to address complex problems.

Lead and collaborate in designing new functionality, offering innovative suggestions to improve overall architecture.

Propose and implement proactive measures to enhance quality and efficiency across the SITS platform.

Undertake bug fixing, script writing for the SITS platform.

Support tasks such as version control, configuration management, build, and release management.

Mentor and coach developers to ensure deliverables are met and drive expertise in software development.

Assist in coordinating development phases.

Provide technical input to support the sales process when needed.

Offer advice on feasibility and project work estimates.

Produce accurate code of increasing complexity that is supportable and testable, with a "right first time" approach.

Ensure versions of third-party controls remain current and supported.



The Skills you'll need:



High degree of technical ability across multiple technologies.

Thorough understanding of appropriate design patterns.

Strong coaching and mentoring skills.



It would be great if you had:



Experience using Uniface as a platform.

Experience within an EdTech organisation.
