Purpose of Role



We are seeking a highly skilled and self-disciplined Senior Developer to join our development team.

You will play a critical role in building and maintaining robust web and mobile applications, working across the full development lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong PHP and MySQL expertise, and the flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements. Additional experience with react/capacitors and/or mobile app development desired

Main duties and responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications to support business operations Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with appropriate documentation Collaborate closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions to tight timelines Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing codebases Apply best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technical direction

Knowledge, Skills and experience:



5+ years professional experience in PHP development Strong proficiency in MySQL including complex queries, optimization, and schema design Experience with modern JS frameworks and development for mobile Experience working with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services Understanding of mobile-first design and responsive UI development Experience with Git, Docker, and deployment workflows Exposure to Agile development methodologies Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively Ability to analyse problems and propose effective, scalable solutions Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities and tight deadlines

To undergo training and development in line with the needs of the business To assist with other duties within the scope and nature of position
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 60,000.00-62,500.00 per year
