What's the role?

As a

Senior PHP Developer

at CAVU, you'll be part of our Technology function, playing a pivotal role in building, supporting and evolving our brand-new single platform -- designed to operate at global scale.

This is an opportunity to work with the latest technologies, within a supportive and collaborative environment, as we take knowledge gained from multiple experienced airport services companies and use it to create a market-leading product for our partners worldwide.

You'll work closely with product owners and architects, helping shape solutions rather than just implementing tickets, and you'll lead by example -- bringing energy, initiative and knowledge-sharing to the team.
About you

We're looking for someone who is:
A curious and proactive learner, excited to try new things and coach others. Comfortable with ambiguity, with the ability to collaborate and shape the best solutions. Passionate about building maintainable, scalable applications over chasing complexity. Experienced as a senior team member who leads by example and shares knowledge openly.
Essential Skills
Strong Object-Oriented Programming with PHP PHP 8 Laravel expereince Cloud-native development experience CI/CT/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) Solid understanding of test strategies Knowledge of design patterns and their appropriate use
Desirable Skills
AWS development (e.g. DynamoDB, Lambda) Experience with event-driven architectures Familiarity with modern datastores The Perks
