What is the role?





The .NET Integration Developer will join the CLMi Engineering Team to design, build, and maintain integrations between the CLMi platform and external systems across the private banking ecosystem. Following the successful delivery of this integration, you will contribute to additional backend and integration projects across the CLMi platform, supporting our mission to deliver a secure, scalable, and high-performance financial technology solution.

Integration Design & Development





Design and implement secure data exchanges between CLMi and external platforms. Develop robust API connectivity, authentication, data mapping, and performance monitoring processes. Collaborate with analysts and users to perform data analysis and create detailed integration specifications. Develop new functionalities for existing CLMi backend services while maintaining full system functionality. Extend and enhance RESTful APIs to support evolving business needs.



Code Quality & Maintenance





Write idiomatic, tested, scalable, and well-documented .NET code. Revise, refactor, and debug existing code to ensure system reliability. Participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.



Performance & Security





Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of all integration and backend systems. Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing potential bottlenecks and scaling challenges. Uphold security best practices to protect systems, data, and people.



Workflow Coordination





Coordinate development workflows between analysts, web developers, and DevOps teams. Participate in daily scrum activities, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.



Data Management





Develop and maintain data audit, archiving, and restoration processes.

Responsibilities





The initial focus will be on integrating CLMi with the Client data aggregation platform, which consolidates account and portfolio data from multiple custodians. This integration enables CLMi users to view enriched holdings, transactions, and performance data directly within the system.

Who is best suited to this role?




Technical Skills





Proficiency with .NET Core / .NET 3 / C#. Experience working through complex, high-volume, high-frequency integrations and migrations using bespoke .NET solutions. Deep experience with RESTful APIs and Postman. Proven experience integrating with external APIs and third-party systems. Familiarity with multiple integration methods, including REST, SOAP, Webhooks, and FTP file-based exchanges (e.g., CSV, XML). Experience developing with AMQP tools such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, etc. Expertise in field mapping of interfaces and data transformation. Skilled in writing unit and system tests for large data volumes.



Soft Skills





Strong data analysis capability and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, willing to challenge the status quo and drive improvements.



Beneficial Skills





Experience in the financial sector or similar data-sensitive environments. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and related services (Azure Service Bus, Key Vault, Table Storage, Cognitive Services). Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) including data modelling, performance optimization, and security. Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures. Exposure to enterprise integration tools such as Informatica, BizTalk, MuleSoft, or TIBCO, with an understanding of their integration patterns and best practices.
