Job Description


This post provides an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated HCSW to join the friendly haemodialysis unit team in caring for individuals with chronic kidney disease.

The successful applicant will undertake an indepth inhouse training programme to develop the skills required to enable them to prepare the haemodialysis machines for each patient, assess and carry out haemodialysis treatments and conclude their treatments as a main aspect to the role.

The post holder will work under the guidance of a registered nurse at all times and be able to work as part of a team.

It is advisable for all applicants to contact the Dialysis unit for an informal visit and gain further insight in to the role and meet the team.

The post holder will be required to carry out a wide range of duties involving direct and non-direct care of patients on the dialysis unit.

Assist and support patients and registered nurses in the safe preparation, delivery and completion of dialysis treatments.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
