About the role




We're looking for a highly skilled

Senior Document Controller

to join our UKCS Scotland team, supporting major

West of Scotland

civils and infrastructure projects. In this role, you'll take the lead on establishing robust document control processes, ensuring project teams, subcontractors, and clients operate in line with ISO 19650 information management standards.



You'll serve as a subject matter expert, supporting the wider project team on CDE systems, workflows, compliance, and best practice. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate, timely, and secure information management across the entire project lifecycle.



What you'll be doing




Setting up and maintaining project-specific

CDE systems

, workflows, processes, and procedures. Ensuring full compliance with

ISO 19650

naming conventions and information management standards. Managing document control requirements from

pre-construction through to project completion

. Leading and managing document review workflows across project teams, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors. Providing

training, support, and coaching

to project teams and administrators. Identifying and interpreting project-specific

contractual document control requirements

. Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to document control protocols. Ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information. Supporting a culture that upholds company values and promotes

Who we're looking for




A professional with:


Strong experience in

document control

within a construction or infrastructure environment. A solid understanding of

ISO 19650

standards and

BIM fundamentals

. Hands-on experience with

CDE platforms

(such as Viewpoint, SharePoint, Aconex, etc.). Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence coaching others. A diligent, proactive, and thorough approach to work. The ability to collaborate across departments and support best-practice project delivery.
