Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in nurturing and developing young children's skills and knowledge in a safe and stimulating environment. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 0-5 years. Your leadership and management skills will be essential in guiding both children and fellow educators to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster children's development across various domains. Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care and education provided. Lead by example, demonstrating strong management skills while supporting less experienced staff members. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to early childhood education.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for working with young children, demonstrating patience and empathy. Driving licence preferred to facilitate travel between locations if required.
