Job Overview


We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will bring at least 3 years of proven experience in an early years setting, demonstrating strong practice, leadership potential, and a genuine love of working with children.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Manage daily activities, ensuring that each child receives individual attention and support. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote collaboration. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning experiences. Lead by example, demonstrating effective teaching practices and encouraging teamwork among staff members. Maintain accurate records of children's development and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Drive initiatives that promote social skills, emotional development, and physical well-being among children.

Qualifications & Skills



Level 3 (or above) in Early Years Education. Minimum 3 years' experience as a practitioner in a nursery or childcare setting. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A deep understanding of early childhood development principles and practices. Ability to create engaging learning activities that inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
