Poppins Kindergarten is the newest addition to the SADCO Nursery group. By the end of this year, we aim to transform and modernise the nursery environment. Duties

Create and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children in your care. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods. Lead group activities that promote teamwork and social skills among children. Collaborate with other educators and staff members to enhance the overall learning experience. Drive initiatives that encourage parental involvement in their children's education.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Background in Early Childhood Education or related field is essential. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is mandatory Leadership qualities to inspire and guide both children and fellow staff members. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere. A genuine passion for nurturing the development of young minds. Flexibility and creativity in adapting educational approaches to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications and Experience

HNC OR SVQ LEVEL 7 Social Services (children and young people) or equivalent.
