Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. The Early Years Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that foster learning, creativity, and social skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that support children's learning and development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to. Lead group activities that encourage social interaction and teamwork among children. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided. Drive initiatives that promote the importance of early childhood education within the community.

Experience

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education is required and previous senior experience would be ideal but not essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and an understanding of child development principles. Ability to engage with children at their level, fostering an environment of trust and encouragement.
