Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote holistic development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children to explore and learn.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
Manage daily activities in the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning experiences.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to maintain high standards of childcare and education.
Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education best practices within the nursery setting.
Encourage positive behaviour through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
Support the Management Team and cover in their absence.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar childcare setting is essential.
A background in early childhood education is highly desirable, demonstrating knowledge of child development principles.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and team members.
Strong time management skills to effectively balance multiple tasks while ensuring quality care.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
