Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills while supporting children's early development. The role involves working closely with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure high standards of childcare and education are maintained.

Duties



Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years Supervise and support children during play, learning, and mealtime routines Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication Monitor and record children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones Lead small groups of children during activities to promote learning and social skills Manage daily administrative tasks such as attendance records and activity planning Support colleagues in organising nursery events and parent meetings Ensure compliance with all childcare policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Experience



Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices Experience with child development assessment tools is desirable Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,080.00-29,120.00 per year
