Economic Consultant- Property Regeneration

Location: London or Manchester

An excellent opening has arisen for a economic consultant to join our team in either our London or Manchester offices.

We are seeking someone with a passion for economic development and regeneration, and its power in driving positive change. You probably work or have a background in a relevant discipline including economics, regeneration, or housing.

As part of the team, you will be engaged on a range of projects such as:

Securing funding for the delivery of 200+ homes in the North East of England
Delivering a new Town Centre in North London
Biding for national funding pots to help the regeneration of towns and cities
Evaluating performance of business innovation and support schemes

You will be responsible for winning and delivering a fascinating body of work as follows:

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

  • Case making for a wide range of economic development and regeneration projects
  • Impact assessments of projects and programmes that demonstrate their value to society and value for money
  • Assembly of data and evidence through research and primary analysis including surveys to make a compelling case for change
  • Evaluation of options for projects in order to recommend a preferred route to deliver
What we are looking for:
  • 2 -5 years relevant experience in economic development and regeneration projects
  • Qualification to degree level in a related field e.g. economics, planning, housing, geography
  • Computer literate with a firm understanding of generic software including Excel and Word
  • Numerate and capable of understanding patterns in data
  • Convincing in report writing with arguments that generate solutions and sound advice
