Job Description
We are currently dealing with one of the UK\'s leading multidisciplinary consultancies who are looking to take on a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing Building Services team in Leeds with the possibility of working on a remote hybrid basis. The suitable candidate will get the opportunity to work on exciting projects supporting schemes across a huge range of sectors and fast track their career progression.
The duties of this job include but are not limited to:
- Involvement in all aspects of design process, checking designs are produced to a high quality.
- Helping to mentor junior engineering staff
- Reviewing costs and cost implications.
- Assessing and interpreting client requirements.
- Selecting equipment, carrying out calculations and producing specifications.
- Proficiency in the use of Revit is essential, and experience using MagiCAD is ideal.
- Understanding of project requirements and ability to manage project delivery.
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Design and working towards chartered status/have an interest in doing so.
- Future flexibility will be needed for regular co-operation, travel and inter-office working
- In house expertise for Electrical enquiries.
- Suitable level of experience in Building Services
