Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description
Phoenix Solutions & Consulting have partnered with a leading Aviation Design Organisation who are seeking to add senior design Engineers specialising in electronics or firmware engineerig for avionics and maritime applications.
Responcibilities
Design and simulate schematics (OrCAD and KiCAD experience preferred). Review PCB layouts (experience with Allegro is a plus). Develop embedded firmware (VHDL and C). Support verification and qualification processes (knowledge of DO-178, DO-254, BS EN 61508 beneficial). Take ownership of assigned work packages, ensuring timely delivery within budget and technical requirements.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or similar in a related field. 5+ years of experience in electronic design and development. Strong schematic design and capture skills (OrCAD experience ideal). Proficiency in embedded programming. Right to live and work in the United Kingdom holding or eligibility for Security Clearance
