We are seeking an experienced

Senior Electrical Engineer

to join a well-established building services design consultancy in Belfast. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of innovative projects across a wide range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, and Sport & Leisure.

The Role

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading or supporting electrical design projects from concept through to completion. You will develop design strategies, prepare specifications, drawings, and reports, and ensure compliance during construction. Collaboration will be central to your role as you work closely with clients, contractors, and other members of the design team.

You will be part of an experienced team where you can take ownership of exciting projects while continuing to develop your expertise.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical building services design Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline Proven experience in the design of electrical systems including: LV distribution, lighting, fire detection, CCTV, access control, small power, data/communications, and mechanical wiring Strong technical knowledge across all RIBA stages (concept to handover) Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical design software such as Amtech/Trimble ProDesign Experience producing design specifications, schematics, and technical reports Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Client-facing experience Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Chartered or working towards professional accreditation Experience with Revit and Dialux (or similar) Mentoring junior engineers or apprentices Valid UK driving licence and CSR/CSCS card

Pay: 48,000.00-52,000.00 per year
