About the Role

We're seeking a talented

Senior Electrical Engineer

to join our Edinburgh office. You'll lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation in every design.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical design for power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and data systems. Produce drawings, calculations, and technical specifications. Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams. Support project delivery from feasibility to handover, including site inspections. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development. Promote sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions.

Skills & Experience

Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).

Minimum 5 years' post-grad experience

in electrical design within building services. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech (or equivalent software). Strong understanding of UK building regulations and IET/BS standards. Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.

Desirable

Chartered or working toward CEng (CIBSE/IET). Experience with BIM and sustainable technologies. Client-facing and team leadership experience.
