Electrical Design Engineer (Senior or Intermediate)

A leading MEP contrator in the Building Services sector with a fantastic reputation is looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. The client has 8 office locations across the South and if you are a experienced design engineer you could be based in any one of these offices.

Reporting to the Design Manager and Divisional Director the Electrical or Senior Design Engineer shall carry out full electrical analysis and design from concept through to delivery on site of a project. They will access and ascertain key principles associated with the electrical elements of any given project and design systems to the agreed RIBA stage. Working collaboratively with the wider design team internally as well as externally, providing technical advice to all parties as required.

The position has excellent career opportunities, the successful candidate will have strong outstanding electrical engineering skills with a sound knowledge of the second discipline, a delivery focused approach and a willingness to succeed.

Applicants must hold or be working towards an HND or higher in building services engineering or equivalent discipline (mechanical or electrical) and be IT literate including all Microsoft Office 365 products, Asta PowerProject, Revit, and Navisworks. Must also be able to use complex analysis software and 3D modelling software.
