Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate the costs of electrical projects, including labour, materials, and overhead, to ensure financial efficiency.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior electricians, promoting their development and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Accreditation Compliance: Ensure all projects and installations comply with NAPIT standards and industry regulations.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

Ownership: taking ownership of this department within the wider department, targeted financially

Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently, implementing long-term solutions and improvements.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, schematics, and reports, for reference and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

:

Must have

NAPIT

accreditation - not expired

Fully qualified in electrical engineering with relevant certifications.

Experience in electrical engineering roles, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects.

Strong ability to accurately cost and budget engineering projects.

Proven experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Proficiency with relevant software and tools used in electrical engineering.

- Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (C&G 2391-50)
