An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Electrical Qualified Supervisor who is looking to step up into senior management within an electrical company. This role involves leading a team of electricians, ensuring all electrical work is carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Your leadership and technical knowledge will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Serve as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and participate in annual assessments. Serve as the MCS Technical Duty Holder and participate in annual assessments Act as the liaison between NICEIC, MCS, internal teams, and clients. Undertake estimating of projects up to the value of 500,000 Carry out site supervision of projects, ensuring the projects are on time and within budget. Conduct audits and evaluations of electrical staff and subcontractors to ensure adherence to BS 7671 and relevant regulations. Review inspection and testing documentation to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing. Manage the distribution and tracking of electrical certifications and local authority notifications. Deliver toolbox talks and maintain CPD records in line with industry standards. Provide technical support and guidance to site-based electricians. Carry out quality inspections, audits, and witness testing. Maintain calibration records for all testing equipment. Oversee planned installations and responsive maintenance tasks. Mentor and train engineering staff to support their development. Engage with clients to arrange project management, ensuring satisfaction and uphold service quality.

Skills

At least 3 years of experience in a Qualified Supervisor role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in certification software and Microsoft Office tools. Deep knowledge of BS 7671 and experience in inspection and testing, and MCS 025 Standards.

Qualifications for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor:

NVQ Level 3, AM2, Level 3 Award in the Installation of Small-Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent). Full UK Driving Licence.
