Job Description

M&M Moran are looking for a NVQ Level 3 Qualified Senior Electrician/Electrical Engineer to join our growing Electrical Division. Initially this will be on a Sub-Contractor basis subject to a 3month probation period, at which point we will be more than happy to discuss making the role employed with full benefits, such as Holiday Pay, Health Care, Company Vehicle, Pension etc.

As one of our engineers, you'll carry out broad range of services including installs, repairs, servicing and maintenance.

Examples of Current Projects:

Commercial Installation/Fit Out works in Westminster and other areas of London High End Residential Refurb/Installations in London and the surrounding areas Commercial Maintenance works in London and Surrey, including reactive and proactive works, including repairs, upgrades and fault finding. Undertaking Electrical Installation Condition Reports in Commercial Settings, including Offices, Schools etc.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate would require an NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification with a time served apprenticeship, along with an 18th Edition Qualification. Test and Inspection Qualification (2391 or equivalent) would be desirable, but not essential as long as the candidate can show a good understanding of Testing and Inspection knowledge and experience. Experience in both Commercial and Domestic Electrical installations. Minimum 7 years' experience working in the Electrical industry Certificates such as CSCS, PASMA, IPAF etc would be an advantage but not essential as we would provide access to training courses as required. Demonstrate a good knowledge of Electrical regulations. Have a good basic construction site knowledge sufficient to work safely and efficiently. The ability to communicate with colleagues and clients. Must be experienced and hardworking, with the ability to work to a high standard and on own initiative. Will need to be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision and have a flexible approach and a desire to take on new responsibilities. Ideally have the necessary experience and knowledge to be the senior Electrician on a project, overseen by our Electrical Manager. This would involve planning the daily tasks of other electrical staff on the project, placing material orders with the Electrical Manager, ensuring the project keeps to construction programmes, and being the on site Electrical point of contact for our Construction Division Project Managers. Have experience and competency in completing Electrical Certification when required.

Person Specification:

Electrical Qualifications as detailed above Full UK Driving Licence Preferably have their own vehicle, although this is not essential as we will be looking to offer the right candidate a full time employed role witch a company vehicle subject to a 3month probation period.

What we offer:

Day Rate of between 260-320 a day, depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime Company Laptop/Tablet

Working Hours -Monday to Friday - 7.00-16.00 or 8.00-17.00 depending on the project and the successful candidates preference. Overtime available Weekend works
