Senior Electronics Engineer

to bring technical expertise, innovation, and leadership to a dynamic team.

About the Role




As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions for rolling stock projects. From design and development to testing and troubleshooting, you'll be involved in the full lifecycle of electronic systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the design, development, and testing of electronic control and power equipment. Produce and review technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports. Conduct engineering calculations and reliability predictions. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as BS EN50155. Perform FMEA and risk assessments for electronic systems. Investigate system failures and identify root causes. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success. Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications



Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). Proven experience in electronic hardware design and testing. Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Seetrax XL) and circuit simulation software (e.g., Multisim(TM)). Knowledge of EMC design principles. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
