We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team and play a leading role in the development of new products and through-life support of our legacy products. You will help ensure our electronic systems meet high-performance, reliability, and compliance standards throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities



Generation of quantifiable electronic specifications based on internal or external customer system requirements Electronics project leadership on specific development activities. execution of research into new electronic components for continuous improvement and performance, and cost. electronic design of precision electronic and electromagnetic systems from concept through to production, ensuring: Designs work, are innovative, cost-effective, fit for purpose, reliable and delivered on time and on budget. effective use of CAD design tools (Altium, LTSpice etc) Appropriate use of design techniques, i.e. FEA, CFD, DFMA, etc. Effective process selection Operational and legal compliance Support and oversee outsourced work as required Development of verification and production test plans, including customised test equipment design. Supervision and conduct of test work both in-house and at external EMC test houses. Assistance to production and supply chain in the introduction of new products Execution of root cause analysis of production/design problems to a successful conclusion.

Key Skills and Abilities.



Degree qualified in a relevant field. Demonstrable experience and expertise in analogue and digital circuit design and multilayer PCB layout. Experience planning and working to schedules in rapid development cycles and leading business-critical development projects. Solid understanding of brushless motor design. Experience with analogue signal conditioning, protection circuitry and power supplies, designing for EMC and resolving issues. Experience in design verification testing and documentation writing. Drive and proven experience in process improvement. Methodical, meticulous, organised and driven to deliver.

The Process



Most of our interviews will take place over one or two stages, typically a phone/teams interview followed by a face-to-face interview on-site. We do ask all candidates who are coming to a face-to-face interview to carry out a short Psychometric assessment to help us understand how you tick!
