UL Solutions is looking for a Senior Employee Benefits and Solutions Analyst to join our team our regional Total Rewards team.
You will be responsible for delivering employee benefits cross-border solutions, supporting the employee lifecycle with a strong focus on efficiency and sustained effectiveness. You will oversee external provider management reporting requirements to support appropriate trend analysis and ensure accuracy of employee records management.
This role reports to our Regional Employee Benefits and Solutions Manager.
Be Responsible for Country Benefits Inventory & Benchmarking. Support in identifying challenges and recommending solutions.
Prepare local proposal or analysis for annual insured benefits (upgrade & downgrade). Special catch-up plan for the countries and budget forecast if needed. Ensure that the respective countries' annual insurance (Term Life, AD&D, Medical, Critical Disease, Business Travel etc.) are renewed on time.
Collaborate in creating the Regional Benefits Policy (framework, could be further adapted by country field HR), like annual leave, paid sick leave, long service award, employee caring etc.
Be responsible for new policy / updated policy employee communication preparation and implementation (open-call /email/TTT to field HR etc.?
Support the integration and project harmonization for the acquired business; align the locations practice into country framework.
Provide responsive approaches to complex or escalated employee benefit questions. Be the askHR query L2 owner, when a critical case is assigned, coordinate local brokers & insurers to properly answer the other benefits query regarding the countries in the region.
Collaborate with country field HR team to improve the employee experience locally and/or regionally. Coach and guide the HR team and business leaders regarding the local/regional benefits topics.
Provide guidance and interpretation of employee benefit policies, procedures, and processes to ensure local adherence and identify areas of risk. Support, audits, compliance and other employee benefits programs locally.
Support the development and execution of key employee benefits projects and performs other duties as directed.
University Degree in Human Resources Administration, Business Administration,, or a related discipline plus generally above 5 -7 years of Total Rewards (COE) experience.
Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent customer service and strong listening skills with an empathetic approach.
Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
Ability to utilize multiple systems while handling customers/employees via phone, chat, email, etc.
