Senior Employee Relations Advisor

. In this dynamic and flexible role, you'll play a key part in supporting fair and consistent people management by advising on complex employee relations issues, from disciplinary and grievance cases to investigations and policy development. You'll work within a supportive and collaborative HR team, with the chance to influence culture, promote best practice, and make a meaningful impact across the organisation. Key Responsibilities:




Provide expert advice and support to managers on a wide range of complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment, and capability cases. Apply up-to-date employment law, HR policies, and best practice guidance to support fair and timely resolution of cases. Promote a culture of fairness and transparency through the use of restorative and Just Culture principles. Support investigations and ensure robust and consistent documentation. Build strong working relationships across the organisation, offering clear, practical and solutions-focused advice. Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and organisational priorities.

Essential:




CIPD Level 5 qualification. Degree or equivalent relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in a HR advisory role, managing complex ER cases with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices. Experience supporting formal investigations and advising managers with confidence. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and advise persuasively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Confident using electronic HR systems and generating reports. NHS Experience.
