Senior Employment Advisor



Covering Derby

- Regular travel required, covering multiple sites across the region

Salary:

Upto 32,500 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits



Successful candidates will manage & support a team of Employment Advisors (EAs) offering employment support within integrated packages of psychological therapies to people with common mental health problems who are struggling at work, off sick from work or looking to find work.


What you will be doing:




Leading a Team of Advisors across Derbyshire; acting as their representative as a member of the relevant NHS Talking Therapies Management Team Work directly with an NHS Talking Therapies Clinical Lead to integrate the therapy & employment support, creating integrated care pathway(s) to support individuals with common mental health problems to gain, return to or retain employment Developing good working relationships with local employers, Trade Unions, Jobcentre Plus and others to promote & encourage strong links for Service Users

To be successful you will require:




Previous Team Management / Lead experience is essential Experience of overseeing performance, mentoring & supporting colleagues, ensuring KPIs are met Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively network & build relationships internally & externally

Role specific Benefits





You will be offered the chance to undertake an assessor qualification (Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement). The training for this certificate will be arranged and funded centrally once staff come into post. There will also be opportunities for Team Managers to take a Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
