With our ongoing success in business growth, we are expanding our Project Development team and have a new opportunity for an Energy Analyst to join us to develop a wide range of clean technologies and renewable projects. The successful candidate will support work assignments covering all technical analysis and project development deliverables for our customers in both public and private sectors. This involves energy data analysis and modelling, feasibility study, on-site energy audit, coordination with stakeholders, report writing and assisting in internal work process improvement. This will include working closely with the BDM team and internal and external Engineers to provide robust models and assist in the development of concept designs and plant selections.

Key Responsibilities:Support delivery of innovative and research projects, including technical and commercial evaluation. Perform desktop data analysis including energy usage analysis, energy modelling, benchmarking analysis, energy and carbon savings calculations, GIS analysis and building heat loss analysis Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic analysis across various renewable and clean technologies, including initial plant selections Engage with contractors and specialists to assist in building up project costs, with an awareness of cost implications of design choices Develop energy savings models including EPC, PPA and EaaS Liaise with the BDM team and internal and external stakeholders Preparation of technical reports, presentation and all project supporting documentation detailing buildings, building systems, data analysis results and energy savings opportunities Assist in improving operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service Deliver other duties as required


Minimum Qualifications:Engineering degree, or equivalent preferably in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving expertise Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Good verbal, written and computer communication skills

Desirable skills:Experience of Energy Frameworks such as RE:Fit, NDEE, and PSDS Experience with one or more energy modelling software or programming Understanding and knowledge of low carbon technologies, such as heat pumps and district heating, and integration into buildings and energy networks Experience working in energy, renewables, or decarbonisation Drafting in AutoCAD 2D for layouts and P&IDs

They should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work under pressure and complete within deadlines. A team player with the ability to work in fast-paced environment across multiple projects. This job may require the willingness to travel across the UK and abroad.
