Our client is a listed, global sustainability solutions provider to over 600 customers across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Their aim is to make it easy for companies to measure, reduce and ultimately eliminate their carbon emissions. They do this via their bespoke SaaS platforms for Carbon and ESG reporting as well as Energy & IoT Intelligence.

Our client works across a multitude of industries from global leaders in the banking, energy, and renewable energy sectors to local councils and medium to large wholesale distribution and manufacturing companies that are eager to start their journeys to net zero.

About the role

Our client is looking for a passionate and highly motivated consulting professional to lead their energy and carbon practice in the UK and actively work closely with our customers and prospects to support them through sales demonstrations and project implementations. This role is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment alongside a local and global team focused on success and join our team to help accelerate the growth of an ASX-listed Climate-Tech scale up, with the possibility of transitioning into a commercial leadership role in the future.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the local sales team (alongside other service delivery colleagues) as they actively convert leads into engaged customers by demonstrating and implementing our technology suite of solutions for those customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales team in creating and presenting persuasive proposals to new prospective customers.
  • Lead the implementation of our SaaS projects for UK clients.
  • Engage your clients and leave no stone unturned to help build a successful outcome for all.
  • Continually meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets by ensuring customers are delighted with our technology, capability, and service.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer accounts and projects.
  • Submit regular project and service delivery reports to management.
Requirements
  • Strong communicator who will be able to explain how our technology works, and how it helps our customers with identifying energy savings and sets them on their journey to net zero.
  • Have strong customer service skills.
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and passionate about customer engagement.
  • Have a passion for software applications and solutions, especially energy and IoT technology.
  • Have 3 years of proven experience in Energy Consulting and experience with IoT Intelligence.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Can build rapport and relationships with fellow team members and clients working across multiple projects.
  • Have a strong Technical / Science background.

Ideal Personal Attributes
  • Previous experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Previous experience completing energy audits.
  • Relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering)
