The Senior Energy Performance Manager will lead a team of Energy Managers to optimise daily energy consumption across the Heathrow estate through data-driven solutions and operational improvements. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams, stakeholders, and project groups to identify inefficiencies, implement energy-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance with technical standards. By fostering innovation and continuous improvement, the role will contribute significantly to Heathrow's sustainability and energy efficiency goals.
Guide and support a team of Energy Managers in identifying and delivering impactful energy-saving initiatives.
Build strong relationships with Engineering Operations Managers, key colleagues, and stakeholders to align energy strategies with operational priorities.
Conduct in-depth assessments of HVAC, lighting, BMS, and other energy-intensive systems, translating insights into actionable improvements.
Challenge inefficiencies constructively to ensure Heathrow's infrastructure meets technical standards and optimises energy use.
Leverage data and analytics to implement best-in-class energy management practices across the airport estate.
Work closely with Key Suppliers, Project Teams, and EDM to drive operational improvements that reduce energy consumption and cost.
Lead the Energy Savings Working Group, promoting best practices and tracking performance across departments.
Support compliance with ESOS, ISO50001, and other regulatory frameworks.
Foster a culture of energy awareness and sustainability across Heathrow.
Provide cross-team leadership and support as needed to drive strategic energy goals.
Chartered Engineer status or demonstrable equivalent.
